Dayboro Bakery - just North of Brisbane

In typical country fashion, the Dayboro Bakery invites visitors with a huge range of delicious breads, cakes and slices, pies and savory items too. The additional benefit is that it has a beautiful verandah where you can add a cappuccino, tea or coffee and sit in the very peaceful atmosphere to savour your temptation. Recently our Brisbane Sunshine Wanderers chapter had a weekend in the area and the Dayboro Bakery seemed the ideal spot to extend our farewells on the way home. We get our priorities right in our chapter!

As you can see, we selected a variety of goodness and naughtiness. There is also a tourist information centre across the road – and beware gentlemen – a craft shop with lots of locally produced articles. Several of our members purchased superb baby gifts for very realistic dollars.

Heading into town from the southern side, The Dayboro Bakery is found right on the corner opposite the information centre and park. You can’t miss it, especially with that lovely wide verandah’s inviting you in for morning tea or lunch. Cost wise - very good value for money – taste wise – exquisite value for money! What a fantastic place!
