This is a wonderfully colourful owner built letterbox. The dog actually belongs to the 2004 CMCA Tasmanian Rally coordinator, Don Mackrill. |

This is just about as good as it gets, and so far is set to get our vote for the best letterbox in Tassie! Is it perhaps the Ned Kelly version of a Tassie Devil?? |  |
This caught our eye because it was such an "economical" letterbox! The base was an old waterpipe, the top a piece of terracotta and the box any old bit of galvanised iron! |  |
Interesting road this one, as all the letterboxes are on the one side of the road and usually in groups. Right beside the beautiful Tamar River too! |  |

Yes this is all home made and a great example of country ingenuity. Very few letterboxes of merit on this fairly lonely stretch of road between Bridport and Gladstone. |  |
