The sign at the bottom is absolutely spot on - "Too Step for Caravans"! Yes we crawled up in first, but it was well worth the effort as this lookout is well worth a visit. No toilets or water, but a great shelter shed, a garbage bin and a nice BBQ. Not a lot of room up the top and if you are towing anything don't attempt the 14% climb. |

There are a couple of fairly flat spots on
the grass or you can park on the turning circle, but it is a little on
the slopey side.

No bakeries in Imbil so getting a tempting smoko is a bit harder than usual. Now you could easily do a quick overnight here as there are no signs and the view is rather good. Failing this we absolutely recommend the Island Reach Camping Area ($3.50 a head with hot showers) back in town. Hema 7 E12 |
