This one is down the lane that leads
to the first shop. If you miss it turn left at the Post Office
sign and head west a little. Nice level parking on bitumen, but only room
for four vehicles - not suitable for long vehicles or trailers. Right
next to the lake with a nice shady table - no toilets or water, but there
is a nice shop right next door with exceptionally helpful owners - also
like most of NSW it is licensed.

Fantastic swimming in very clear water and extremely friendly locals. A guy we got talking too told us the history of the place and he took us along the bank and showed us where a famous local was put to rest. Very touching and what better place to spend your days. The caravan park is absolute river front and well worth thinking about spending a few days here. Very dog friendly area - we didn't spot a solitary sign. |

If this spot is full return to the road in and keep
going towards the sea, right through the caravan park (looks private
but it isn't) and you will eventually reach the sea. We didn't check
this out - a local clued us up when we mentioned how hard it was to
find a smoko spot! Hema 31 D 12 |
