| Shark Beach
- North Coast - New South Wales What a wonderful spot for a smoko break! It might only be 300 metres wide but it is a gently sloping beach making it ideal for the over 50's provided it is calm. It was a 40 degree day on our visit in November 2004 yet we had to shut some windows as it was quiet chilly! |

| You can walk right out to the end of the breakwater - also ride your bike if you wish. The views up the coast are absolutely stunning. The bikeway goes right back into town and follows the lovely river - a very enjoyable ride. |

| CDMA and GSM work fine, good TV reception for the midday soaps for your little lady, the water tastes fine and parking is reasonably level if you have a gas fridge. You can fill up with water but you will need a long hose. The easiest tap is behind the sheltered tables. The toilets are hopeless if you have a wheel chair. There isn't even a path. However there is a good outside shower after that swim. Our only moan is only one garbage bin. This is a bit daft for such a large area. |

| This truly is a lovely spot and well worth the 10 kms detour off the Pacific Highway. If you have a long bus you wont be able to park here unless three normal parks on the left side are all vacant. There is a nasty bend at the entrance road that could also give grief to long vehicles. Our day spent here was most enjoyable. Absolutely
