Do It Yourself Projects
Go to any CMCA club meeting rally and you will come home with your head absolutely brimming full of new ideas. Just about any motorhome has a least one unique idea - all you have to do is ferret them out! The idea of this page is not to do the dealers out of business, as so many budget conscious motorhomers just cannot afford to have some of these little luxuries fitted. The projects do favour Winnebago Freeway and Leisure Seekers. Most can be adapted to suit any brand or model, but please don't email us about other makes/models as we probably wont be able to help you. Most projects are graded, so if you are a beginner with this DIY caper we suggest you start with the less ambitious projects. Please don't neglect safety - remember you must use an electrician for all mains connected work and a licensed gas fitter for all gas related work. It is also a prudent move to think about warranty if you are a rank amateur. You will find that you achieve an enormous amount of self satisfaction when others comment on your work and of course you make your better half ever so happy!
