Hi-Lift Jack - Winnebago

Jacking up a motorhome can be a very risky business particularly if one is on a bit of a slope. This is a clever solution for those a bit worried about sliding underneath to place the conventional jack. You simply purchase a high lift jack from any 4WD outlet. This clever own also made a ladder and attached the jack to this. Note how the ladder also protects the tail lights. The owner has made life very easy by welding jacking points along the side and across the rear. Now this does add weight but what price safety as this system positively reduces the chance of the vehicle falling off the jack. Another benifit is very easy extraction without drama if you happen to get bogged. We recently fell into a wash away whilst durning a U-turn so we can see how handy this gadget would be. Spotted at the CMCA 2004 Tasmanian Rally.
