This is a very neat installation in a Sprinter 313 motorhome conversion. The compartment is fully insulated and we could hardly hear it from inside the unit. The door had a rubber sealing strip and lock. The manufacturer offers a slide out option as well. The generator is the very popular Honda 2.0i (built in inverter). It just ran the AC unit.

NOTE:- If doing a similar installation we suggest you try to locate it much further away from the gas hot water system as if you filled the petrol tank with the heater running there is a very real fire risk. Best to check with your local gas inspector first.
