We came across this interesting marine TV omni-directional aerial on Howard and Irene Plant's excellent Mercedes Sprinter conversion. It does need to be removed for travel, however if you fit it on the side of your RV you can travel with it folded. The unit has a variable booster running on 12 volts. It came from marine supplier Glasscraft Marine in Brook St, Fortitude Valley, Qld and Howard says they are easy to find. Cost came in at $280.00. Howard mentioned that it works right around the Australian coast an in many places outperformed the market leaders etc.
