| Adapting
for Climbing Stairs and Gopher Storage This story shows you that you should never give up motorhoming if you become disabled. Beatz Work'n has overcome a couple of problems. On the front stairs an angle type stair lift has been expertly installed (inclinator) and it works like a dream. For mobility on site a standard battery operated Gopher has been used. |

| Gopher storage/carriage is rather clever. You simply drop down a rear ramp and drive it on. The complete structure is made from alluminium and again beautifully made and even has repeater lights even though they are possibly not required. There is even more "cleverness" in this area! The owners tow a small 4WD when on long trips and the Gopher then fits onto this. To achieve a legal towbar set up the alluminium rack sits in two pieces of square tube. You simply remove the rack and plug in a standard Hayman Reece towball assembly into the receiver. We came across this rig at the Kempton Festival with the CMCA Blue Gum Rovers in March 2004 in Tasmania - a fantastic weekend by the way! |
