This idea could be of particular interest to most Winnebago owners as it solves a niggly problem. Under the seats the lids have no hinges and simply float around. We photographed this very clever setup in a Suncamper motorhome. Any DIY person could fit these in about 30 minutes. Another method is to cut a strip 2" wide off the ply, attach it to the back and then use a piano hinge. We have done lots of these and it does take quite a while. The Suncamper method appeals if we can find out where to source the brackets from. We like the way it is self supporting without needing gas struts. Any clues anyone?
