These devices have been around for years but it is unusual to find them on a smaller motorhome. They are particularly useful if you like to bush camp and need your motorhome level to keep your gas fridge working properly. Operation is very easy HOWEVER you must remember to retract them before moving off. Retraction is via spring pressure so you do need to occasionally lubricate the shafts with WD40 or even better Inox etc. and keep them clean particularly if yu have been parked on dirt for an extended period. This is the only problem reported to us. The photo above was taken at Armstrong Creek after a week of rain. In these cases you do need to crawl underneath and place a flat piece of timber under the foot. The piece shown is not ideal.
