Around-Oz: Living the Dream!

John & Lyn Arnott - Coaster Review
- continued . . . (page 2)

The amount of thought that has gone into this conversion is rather amazing and it is still only Mk 1! You would be proud to display any of the "furniture" in your lounge at home. The shower/toilet is located immediately behind the drivers seat.

And yes it does have a good sized sink - pretty rare in Coasters. No the flowers aren't a permanent fixture!

The air-conditioning for travelling is rather brilliant. John just used a "generic" unit and mounted it above the front seats. See photo below left. This is one of the best solutions we have seen for this tricky problem. No decal on the bus just yet - toooooooooo new!

We liked this clever approach to draws. John just has one large front which hides another two behind it. This certainly speeds up manufacture and gives a less cluttered look.

The microwave is at waist height. Note the angle of this bench. More serious thinking here! The idea is you need plenty of access room for when you get "less mobile".

The driving compartment is well finished and has UHF, GPS and radio. The Navman GPS is mounted in a terrific easy to see spot with zero chance of windscreen reflections.
