There is nothing quite like this book in Australia at present and it follows the usual format of the Explore Australia series, with the exception that it actually recommends some 600 caravan parks. We enjoyed the top 10 recommended parks and heartely concur with their findings. It is so very easy in this style of book to "inflict" your personal views on your readers. What one considers a perfect park might be judged by another to be a dump. The authors John and Jan Tait have drawn on years of experience. Features include, a guide to planning your trip, more than 32,000 kms of touring routes all mapped and described, a directory of 600 recommended caravan parks and a very useful Australia-wide road atlas.
