| The very popular entry level Winnebago Freeway was previously only offered on the E2500 Mazda cab chassis. Due to stricter ADR's coming into force Mazda will no longer be exporting to Australia. This will effect many other Winnebago models as well as other manufacturers. However it's not all bad news as the first unit into Queensland pictured above is a much improved model. It is dearer but the extra cost is justified. Gone are the odd sized wheels, the unit seems to be stronger and marginally larger in the cab area and overall is higher than the Mazda version. |

| Bottoms of water tanks now have plywood reinforcing and the newer side exit sullage system is standard so there is no need to bend down. Hose is now supplied. Diesel filling problems have been addressed and this is no longer a problem. Taillights are now recessed and look very modern as well as being more practical. All seat frames are now fully welded steel in lieu of pine. The drop down centre seat has a great little pocket absolutely ideal for maps, concealing mobile phones and of course your street directory can always be handy. |
