Mitsubishi Rosa Bus

It could be a few years before this new model starts trickling through onto the used bus market. There are exciting times ahead when it does as the specification is way ahead of the current Toyotas and Mazdas. It also looks really good. We found this one in the new car yard at Murmillumbah Truck Centre in Northern NSW - (02) 6672 6159. Emails to this company don't seem to work (trade portal). We liked the way the unit was stored under cover and thety do encourage test driving the unit. The present one is white and not quite as spunky as the photo above. Mitsibushi in Australia are very poorly represented on the Internet in Australia and most photos here came from Japan. The two photos below are used imports from Japan. So far there is very little on the Internet on the Rosa but you can hire one from Buses + 4wd Hire - excellent website. They claim a mileage of 14L/100 kms from an 80 litre tank giving a 400 kms range. This is possibly fairly accurate as it is not a dealer site. The photo at right below is from their fleet. Keen motorhome converters could put their name down for when they sell. Another point worth noting is it already meets the future ADR 68/00 requirements. Buses + 4WD Hire also have the 29 seat Mercedes buses. Now these are the new shape with an A class type nose! The mileage is an astonishing 13L/100 (turbo/manual) from a 125 litre tank and it is 4 seats wide with those gorgeous black glass frameless windows - a motorhome builders delight as it comes standard with ducted air.
